Challenge:
Identify opportunities for achieving aggressive financial growth targets for the women’s fitness segment of a global athletic footwear brand.
Solution:
Focusing on the target of athletic women consumers aged 25-to-40 years old, we partnered with our client and identified the opportunity for a compelling new athletic retail concept located in the mall.
Working in concert with client senior management and team members, we ensured corporate buy in and execution. With client, we developed the key merchandising, marketing, and in-store experience elements that resonate with and appeal to the athletic female consumer.
In addition, we identified and assessed potential channel and ownership options as well as potential retail partners with which to execute the concept.
Measurable Results:
A new chain of athletic retail specialty stores targeting females aged 25-to-40 years old launched in Spring 2006.
